Abstract

Basal cell adenocarcinoma of the nasal cavity is a rare lesion of the head and neck, besides it is often misdiag- nosed as adenoid cystic carcinoma and other tumor disease. We encountered a 65-year-old patient with a re- curred basal cell adenocarcinoma arising from the nasal septum and hard palate. This patient was treated with preoperative concurrent chemo-radiation therapy (CCRT), the tumor was radically removed through midfacial degloving approach and postoperative additional radiation therapy. We present this rare case with a review of related literatures.
